All ingredients are allergen-free, GMO-free, GRAS and kosher. The ingredients are available in oil or value-added emulsion form. Emulsions are cold water soluble and do not require additional thickening agents.
Not all omega-3s are created equal.

Omega-3 EPA/DHA fortified food products have shown significant growth in recent years. However, the market penetration in key categories such as functional beverages, low-fat and shelf-stable applications is limited because of lack of appropriate delivery systems. Irrespective of the source of omega-3 EPA/DHA, the nature of long chain polyunsaturation makes EPA/DHA susceptible to oxidation by light, oxygen and cations. The oxidation is especially pronounced when products undergo thermal processing and are stored at ambient temperatures.
Hormel offers shelf-stable omega-3 fish oils that broaden the possibilities for omega-3 EPA and DHA in drinks, thanks to recent advances by Hormel scientists in oil processing. These ingredients have been scientifically demonstrated to provide greater than six month stability in numerous shelf-stable, non-refrigerated and non-frozen beverage applications.
